Berber carpets have their roots in the North African nomadic people. Until today, besides standardized collection articles, nomads still produce fascinating carpet art made out of wool. Our collection "Nomadic Design" originates from its traditional design diversity. They are re-produced by hand in India, using pure Wool. Striking geometrical patterns are typical for this kind of carpet.
The pile of these hand-woven carpets is made of 100 % wool. The total weight varies between 2000 g and 4000 g.
The carpet has a very soft, dense pile. It is easy to clean, very tough and impervious to dirt. A cleaning with the vacuum cleaner is sufficient, once a spot should have strayed onto the carpet, usually sufficient a damp cloth to remove.
