Björk, the subtle star of our collection, is hand-knotted in New Zealand wool using the Sumak technique, a traditional craft with roots in Persia.
This knotting method creates a knit-like texture while preserving the robust qualities of aflat-woven rug. By blending raw, natural fibres with carded yarn, we’ve crafted
a unique interplay of colour, shine, texture, and durability - bringing together the best of both worlds. This perfect balanced design is the result of years of meticulous testing and development.
Björk is quiet, and elegantly understated, revealing more of its refined character over time.

Manufacturing method: Sumak hand-knotted in natural coloured New Zealand wool on cotton warp
Quality: Fabula
Care: Simple care with a vacuum cleaner is sufficient, but if possible only with a smooth nozzle, as with a rotating brush this could damage the carpet. If a stain does get lost on the carpet, you can carefully dab it out with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, we recommend special carpet cleaning in a carpet laundry.
