Original and natural - but also resistant and extremely durable - these are the main features of the Gabbehs of NATUR PUR. All rugs are hand-knotted in India with 75,000 knots per square meter. The natural robustness and the unmistakable charm of this nomadic carpets is essentially based on the use of hand-spun virgin wool. Only the best raw wool can be spun by hand. You must be long and very supple be in individual hair. Short and brittle hair break the hand spinning.

Maintenance / cleaning of natural fibers is limited to normal vacuuming. If the carpet be grossly contaminated, please get in quickly with a kitchen towel and if necessary, wash with handwarm soapy water and a sponge and clear water to remove the soap. The base fabric must dry well. If too dirty, please consult a specialist carpet cleaning. Possibly cut high-pile threads with scissors.
